Jack Nicklaus designed a beautiful treacherous challenge

The spectacular Pronghorn in Bend, Ore., features a golf course designed by Tom Fazio. When developers were building the course, an enormous "lave tube" cave was exposed during blasting to create its signature par three over a cavern.
